In 2007, Ganesha Take-Out & Catering was founded by “Mr. Ganesha”, as his regulars so lovingly call him.
He came to Canada with no savings in hand, eight children to raise, and a world of optimism and hope.
As an entrepreneur out of necessity, his passion for business and charisma for great customer service led him to start his own business.
Having started and managed numerous successful businesses back home, he bravely became the owner of one of the top restaurants serving delicious Sri Lankan & South Indian eats in the GTA.
For over 10 years, our passion for home-cooking, high-quality ingredients, and welcoming hospitality has helped us serve 1000’s of customers out of our flagship location in Markham.
Ganesha has been satisfying those who are both familiar and experimenting with the tastes of South Asia.
Fan favourites include our Kothu Roti dinner for the family and our world-famous Mothaham that people travel miles to indulge.
With the support of our loyal customers, we have grown to offer more variety in foods and services.
